The LS features a smaller, more compact head shape engineered to reduce spin and promote a penetrating ball flight. The forward CG positioning supports faster launch conditions and lower spin, helping maximise distance without sacrificing control. At address, the shape sits square and purposeful, encouraging confident, committed swings.
MOI and POI Optimisation
OPTM’s approach focuses on managing both Moment of Inertia and Products of Inertia. While MOI supports stability on off-centre strikes, reducing POI limits twisting across multiple axes during impact. This balance helps minimise side spin, tighten dispersion, and deliver more repeatable shot patterns, particularly at higher swing speeds.
Aerodynamic Shaping for Speed
The head shape is refined to move efficiently through the air, supporting higher clubhead speed without introducing instability. This aerodynamic profile helps preserve speed on off-centre strikes while maintaining a neutral face orientation through impact.
Adjustable Trajectory Control
An advanced descending weight system uses three adjustable weights, 11g, 7g, and 3g, to fine-tune ball flight. The heaviest weight can be positioned in the back for a neutral setup, in the heel for a draw bias, or in the toe for a fade bias. This adjustability allows golfers to dial in trajectory and shape without compromising the low-spin nature of the head.
Forged Face with H.O.T. Technology
A forged face insert with H.O.T. Face technology increases face flex across a wider impact area. This helps maintain ball speed and distance on strikes that miss the centre, delivering more consistent performance without softening the feel.
On-Course Performance
On the course, the OPTM LS produces a penetrating launch with low spin and excellent control. Centre strikes feel fast and solid, while off-centre hits retain speed and direction better than expected for a compact, low-spin driver. The reduced side spin translates into tighter dispersion and more fairways hit, particularly for confident ball strikers.

Built In-House at Nine by Nine
Every OPTM LS Driver is assembled in-house at the Nine by Nine Golf workshop. Each club is built by a single master builder and finished to tour-level tolerances before dispatch. The focus is on accuracy and consistency, so the club you receive matches the specification you ordered.

Express shipping is the fastest possible shipping service, unfortunately it is not a way of getting your custom order built faster.
