The CORTECH design features a Contour Ellipse Face that flexes more dynamically at impact, especially on low-face and heel strikes. The result is increased ball speed and greater forgiveness across the hitting surface, giving you power and consistency, even when contact isn’t perfect.

Multi-Material Construction with Chromoly 4120

In the long and mid irons (4–7), Mizuno uses Chromoly 4120, a strong yet malleable alloy that allows for thinner face construction and faster ball speeds. This material enhances distance while maintaining the controlled feel that better players prefer. it’s a rare blend of strength and responsiveness, tuned for performance from long range.

1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel

The short irons (8–GW) return to 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel, a material chosen for its soft feel and precise feedback. Ideal for scoring clubs, it provides control and finesse around the greens while maintaining a clean, connected feel through the turf.

Grain Flow Forged HD

Every JPX 925 Forged and Black Iron is built using Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged HD process in Hiroshima, Japan. This method creates a tight, uniform grain structure throughout the clubhead, enhancing feel and delivering consistent performance across the set. it’s a forging process refined over decades, now elevated for modern play.

Available in Two Finishes

Choose from the traditional satin forged finish or the bold, glare-reducing Black model. Both are identical in performance—it’s simply a matter of preference in look and visual confidence at the address.
